CCTV footage captured the shocking moment a wanabee thief plowed a stolen car into a Sacramento jewelery store on Saturday, April 18, severely injuring an employee.
According to local news, dispatchers received reports that a vehicle had crashed into the storefront at about 4:30 pm.
Deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office determined at the scene that the ramming was deliberate, and the vehicle used had been stolen. An employee inside the store was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Footage captured from Chinna Jewellers Inc. shows the shocking series of events which occurred as the car smashed through the glass entryway. An interior angle shows employees scrambling to reach the backroom after the store is obliterated.
Outside, a security guard can be seen brandishing a gun, forcing the suspect to flee the scene in another car.
