FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A driver was arrested after a traffic stop revealed over 60 pounds of drugs in the car, police say.

While on patrol, a CHP officer noticed a car on Interstate 5 making multiple driving violations.

During contact, the officer smelled weed coming from the car and noticed other signs of criminal activity.

A search of the car revealed approximately 61 pounds of meth, 7 pounds of fentanyl, and a stolen handgun.

The estimated street value of the meth was $2,215,520, and the value of the fentanyl was $254,240.

The driver was arrested and booked for drug and gun-related charges.
