The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will present Musica Vitale Tuesday, April 28, at 6:30 p,m. Under the leadership of Elena Vizuet, they will present a program of women composers, Hildegard von Bingen, Amy Beach, Nadia Boulanger, and Lori Laitman, featuring San Diego Opera vocalists Lisa Parente, Michael Sokol, and pianist Olena Galytska.
Spanning 1,000 years of music history, this program will be educational and entertaining. The concert takes place at the Carmel Valley Library, 3919 Townsgate Drive, Carmel Valley. This one-hour program is free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted to support future cultural events, a news release stated.
