San Francisco’s iconic Ghirardelli Square has a new owner – Embrace Real Estate and its affiliate 18-23 Partners announced Friday they bought the 12-building complex.
The founder of Embrace Real Estate released a statement about the sale, saying they are committed to “ensuring the Square remains a premier destination for visitors.”
The price for the sale wasn’t disclosed. Ghirardelli Square attracts about 9 million visitors each year.
Tenants include the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop, Palette Tea House and San Francisco Brew Company.
