FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Police is asking the public to identify three people involved in a robbery at a restaurant on Thursday.
Officers responded to a restaurant in the area of North Willow and East Shepard Avenue after reports of a robbery and a victim being assaulted a bit after 9:30 p.m.
When the officer arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot.
Police said the victim was assaulted by two unknown suspects, and his watch was stolen during the assault.
One of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim during the robbery.
Several witnesses tried to intervene, but police said the suspects brandished a firearm at them.
After the robbery, two suspects fled northbound on Willow Avenue in a black Honda Accord.
A third suspect remained inside the vehicle during the assault and fled with the other two suspects.

The victim suffered injuries to his head and upper body and was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
