A quad all-terrain vehicle driver was killed after a collision with a pickup truck near Rio Linda on Saturday in Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash was reporter on 16th Street and Elverta Road around 8:19 p.m. CHP officials said the pickup truck hit the back of the ATV, causing the ATV driver to be thrown off and killed. Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene.
