Parts of MLK Jr. Blvd to close Saturday for event
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A portion of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed this weekend for an event.
The temporary closure will impact MLK Boulevard from De Wolfe Street and Houser Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, for the TCC Open Streets Festival.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The city is asking drivers to take alternate routes to avoid the closures and to take caution when driving near the event.
