WE ARE OVER HIGHWAY 99 RIGHT NOW, HOVERING OVER 12TH AVENUE, JUST AS YOU’RE COMING INTO DOWNTOWN, JUST BEFORE THE HIGHWAY 50 CONNECTOR. UNFORTUNATELY, RIGHT NOW THERE IS A MOTORCYCLE RIDER THAT IS DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND. SHOULDER OF THE FREEWAY. WE’LL TAKE YOU OUTSIDE THERE. WE’RE GOING TO STAY WIDE RIGHT NOW AS WE ARE AWAITING EMERGENCY PERSONNEL TO ARRIVE AT THE SCENE. BUT THERE IS A MOTORCYCLE RIDER AND MOTORCYCLE BLOCKING THE SLOW LANE ON HIGHWAY 99, JUST BEFORE OR JUST BEFORE YOU GET TO 12TH AVENUE. IN FACT, JUST AFTER THE OFF RAMP AT 12TH AVENUE IS WHERE THIS IS HAPPENING. AND AS WE WIDEN OUT, YOU CAN SEE THE TRAFFIC THAT IS BACKED UP ALREADY. THIS INCIDENT JUST HAPPENED AS WE WERE TAKING OFF FROM THE SACRAMENTO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT, AND ALREADY WE’RE SEEING THAT BACKUP HERE ON HIGHWAY 99. AT THIS POINT, IT LOOKS LIKE THERE’S A COUPLE OF CHP ON THE SCENE, BUT SO FAR, NO EMERGENCY PERSONNEL ON THE SCENE YET. AN AMBULANCE OR FIRE TRUCK JUST YET. SO THIS IS A DEVELOPING SITUATION ON HIGHWAY 99. LIKELY GOING TO WANT TO AVOID THIS UNTIL WE GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE WITH THAT RIGHT LANE BLOCK
