The National History Day competition among San Bernardino County students was held at Cal State San Bernardino earlier this year. The 36th annual event drew 290 students from across the county, with 176 projects submitted.
The champions were honored during a March 7 ceremony.
History Day is a program that encourages students to research and prepare projects in six categories: podcasts, exhibits, performances, documentaries, websites, and posters; all based on a historical theme. This year’s theme was “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.”
All entries were judged and scored by historians, educators and other professionals in related fields, according to a San Bernardino County schools news release. Below are the students eligible to participate in the state National History Day competition May 1-3 at Cal State Sacramento.
