ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was shot and killed at the Oakland City MARTA station Monday and a suspect is on the run, MARTA police said.
MARTA police said officers responded to the station’s bus loop just after 6 p.m. and found a man who died at the scene.
The suspect remains at large and the victim has not been identified. A description of the suspect has not been released.
Police said a perimeter has been established in the area of a nearby apartment building at 1165 Oakland Terrace between Avon Avenue and Oakland Lane.
