An international smoothie juice bar that has called Downtown Disney home for 23 years will soon close to make way for a Southern California bubble tea shop inspired by convenience stores in Asia.
Jamba will close on July 6 to make way for the previously announced Bopo Go cafe planned for the Downtown Disney location, according to Disneyland officials.
The Downtown Disney Jamba location will remain open through July 5, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland has filed a building permit with the city of Anaheim to remodel the 1,200-square-foot Jamba juice bar in Downtown Disney with electrical, plumbing and mechanical upgrades for a new tenant, according to Theme Park Wizard.

Jamba is known for smoothies, fruit bowls, matcha, cold brews, sandwiches and pretzels.
The quick-service specialty restaurant chain, formerly known as Jamba Juice, has locations across the United States and overseas in the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Japan and Australia.

Jamba Juice opened in 2003 in Downtown Disney two years after the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall next to Disneyland debuted in 2001, according to Mickey Visit. The Downtown Disney location was remodeled in 2020 with an updated look and the shorter Jamba name.
Disneyland announced plans in 2025 to bring Bopo Go to Downtown Disney without specifying an opening date.

Bopomofo is known for its freshly pressed juices made from real fruit, loose leaf teas sourced from Taiwanese tea farmers and ceremonial grade matcha sourced from Japan. The Bopomofo menu also includes sandwiches, burgers, bowls, tacos, tater tots and imported snacks and candies.

The Southern California chain of bubble tea shops that take inspiration from Chinese, Taiwanese and American cuisines has locations in Irvine, Hollywood, Cerritos, San Gabriel and San Diego.
Bopomofo is named after the method of teaching Mandarin pronunciation in Taiwan.
