The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla presented the annual La Jolla Junior Olympics on April 26 at La Jolla High School, offering children in kindergarten through fifth grade a day of athletic competition including 50-, 100- and 200-meter races, relays, broad jumps, softball throwing, obstacle courses and the Fastest Boy and Fastest Girl in La Jolla 400-meter race.
Approximately 800-900 students from La Jolla’s public and private schools participated. ♦
