Cleanup is underway Tuesday morning at a Walgreens after a car slammed into the front of the store in an attempted burglary, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies responded after 3 a.m. to the Walgreens on Antelope Road near Walerga Road, the sheriff’s office said. California Highway Patrol logs indicate that a reporting party claimed they saw the vehicle reverse into the store multiple times. The vehicle took off before deputies arrived. Emergency crews have left the scene. KCRA 3’s Mike TeSelle reports damage to the front door of the Walgreens.
