FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — CAL FIRE is responding to a vegetation fire that erupted in agricultural fields around 2 p.m. on Tuesday near North and Temperance avenues.
Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies are evacuating homes in the area. Multiple structures are currently being threatened.
The agency says the North Fire is 30 acres and has the potential to grow.
Crews say that wind is a challenge as they try to contain the fire.
Temperance Avenue, between North and Central avenues, is closed.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
