The Happy Crane brings fresh energy to SF’s Chinese food scene

At the Happy Crane, chef James Yeun Leong Parry aims to preserve traditional Chinese foodways while modernizing them for a new generation. 

“We’re just starting to see I think the beginning of Chinese cuisine being better represented and better understood,” Parry said.
