Olivia Rodrigo has announced a major world tour that includes four Northern California concerts in December.
The three-time Grammy Award winner is scheduled to perform Dec. 11 and 12 at Oakland Arena, followed by Dec. 15 and 16 shows at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, promoter Live Nation announced Thursday, April 30.
The concerts are part of Rodrigo’s Unraveled tour, a 65-date run across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom in support of her third studio album, “You seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” due June 12 via Geffen Records.

The tour begins Sept. 25 in Hartford, Conn., and includes multi-night stops in Chicago, Atlanta, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, London and other cities.
Tickets for the North American dates go on sale to the general public at noon May 7 through Rodrigo’s website. An American Express presale is scheduled from noon May 5 through 10 p.m. May 6, local time, while supplies last. Rodrigo will also offer a limited number of $20 Silver Star Tickets at a later date, according to the announcement.

The tour arrives as Rodrigo, 23, is promoting a new album that she has described in recent interviews as a more romantic and experimental chapter.

Known for her confessional style, Rodrigo mixes pop-rock anthems and piano ballads, turning intensely personal lyrics about heartbreak, anxiety and young love into chart-topping hits.

“I’m definitely a lover girl. Like, I want to be in something committed and so in love. And yeah, it’s hard these days,” she told British Vogue.
She also said writing from happiness presented a new challenge: “When you’re experiencing that you’re connected to someone, or feeling really good, you’re not in your head thinking about bittersweet poems!”
In the same interview, Rodrigo called the tracks “sad love songs,” adding, “I realized all my favourite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them.”
Rodrigo’s new single, “Drop Dead,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first artist to debut the lead singles from each of her first three studio albums at No. 1, according to Billboard.

The announcement of the Bay Area dates occurs during a busy media week for Rodrigo. She is set to appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, April 30, and make her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut Saturday, May 2, pulling double duty as host and musical guest.
A portion of tour ticket proceeds will benefit Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good, which supports community-based nonprofits focused on girls’ education, reproductive rights and preventing gender-based violence, according to the tour announcement.
