Orange has a weekend of celebrations planned, starting with a parade.
The Orange May Parade will march through Old Towne starting at 10 a.m. on May 2. Not only is it celebrating 60 years, but it will also honor America’s upcoming 250th birthday.
There will be floats, performers and community groups parading down Chapman Avenue.
The parade is hosted by the Orange Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Following it in the Celebrate Orange Weekend, the Assistance League of Orange Auxiliary Orange Blossoms will host Taste of Orange. The culinary event requires a ticket, which can be found on its website.
On May 3, the 30th annual Orange Plaza Rotary Car Show will fill the streets of Old Towne with an array of classic, vintage and custom rides. The always popular car show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
