Sacramento County deputies in standoff with domestic violence suspect, sheriff says

Deputies are trying to draw out a man barricaded inside a home after a domestic violence incident, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said the home is in the 7000 block of Washburn Way. People in the area have been evacuated during the standoff. The sheriff’s office said the domestic violence victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. A SWAT team has responded to the scene.
