At least one person seriously hurt in rollover crash in east Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — At least one person suffered serious injuries in a fiery crash Friday afternoon in east Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A rollover crash was reported at around 4:27 p.m. near Edison Highway and Oswell Street, according to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page.

A gray sedan lost control, rolled over, landed on its roof and caught fire, according to CHP. The driver did get out of the vehicle. Major injuries were reported in the crash according to CHP.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
