Golden Knights defeat Mammoth 5-1, advance to 2nd round to play Anaheim Ducks

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Vegas Golden Knights advance to the second round in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, defeating the Utah Mammoth, 5-1, in Game 6.

Dominant throughout the game on Friday night, the Golden Knights took over in the third period, led by Mitch Marner’s two goals, and won the best-of-seven series 4-2.

VGK will play the Anaheim Ducks, who knocked off the Western Conference Champion, the Edmonton Oilers, in six games.
