A homicide investigation is underway after the body of a Farmington Hills man was found in a Farmington Hills park Sunday, police said.
According to the Farmington Hills Police Department, a person called 911 at around 4 p.m. May 3 to report they found the body on a trail in Woodland Hills Park, located at 26655 Farmington Road. The victim has been identified as a 64-year-old, but his name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said.
Officers interviewed the caller, and detectives and evidence technicians responded to the location to conduct further investigation, police said.
Anyone with information related to this incident or who visited the park between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 3 is asked to contact the Farmington Hills Police Department command desk at 248-871-2610.

Woodland Hills is a 74-acre nature park just south of I-696.
A body was also found recently in West Bloomfield, on the west side of Drake Road north of 14 Mile Road, across from the Planterra Conservatory. West Bloomfield Township Police Chief Dale Young told The Oakland Press on Monday that the person is believed to have died by suicide.
