Police in standoff with possibly armed suspect in Upper Land Park

Sacramento police officers are in standoff with a possibly armed suspect at a home in the Upper Land Park area.Before 11:30 a.m. Monday, officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on a suspect on 5th Street and Seavey Circle, police said. The suspect did not stop, leading officers on a chase. The suspect then ran into a home in 200 block of Seavey Circle. Officers believe he is alone in the home. SWAT officers and crisis negotiators are at the area to get the suspect to peacefully surrender.This story is developing and details may change as more information becomes available. SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Sacramento police officers are in standoff with a possibly armed suspect at a home in the Upper Land Park area.
Before 11:30 a.m. Monday, officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on a suspect on 5th Street and Seavey Circle, police said. The suspect did not stop, leading officers on a chase.
The suspect then ran into a home in 200 block of Seavey Circle.
Officers believe he is alone in the home.
