Juanita More already throws one of the most famous parties on Pride Sunday in San Francisco, using her glamour and community connections to raise funds for a worthy LGBTQ cause every year.
But one day is no longer enough for the drag mother, DJ and empress.
Beginning June 4, the San Francisco drag legend will host Juanita More’s Floor 21 Happy Hours at the Starlite at the Beacon Grand Hotel in Union Square every Thursday. In addition to closing out San Francisco Pride 2026, she also plans to kick off Pride Week on June 21 with a special bash at Starlite.
The venue, which overlooks Union Square, was long home to the “Sunday’s a Drag” brunch while the space was known as Harry Denton’s Starlite Room at the the Sir Francis Drake. Since reopening as the Starlite in 2024, with a chic redesign by Alice Crumeyrolle, the venue has introduced new drinks by Trick Dog’s Scott Baird and a menu by Michelin-starred chef and raw bar expert Johnny Spero.
The Starlite’s first Sunday Pride brunch, however, will feature a special one-day menu by Acquerello chef Tucker Ricchio, winner of Season 2 “Next Level Chef.”
Drag performers during the weekly Juanita More’s Floor 21 Happy Hours will include local favorites Dulce De Leche, Mary Vice and Rahni NothingMore, along with Vogue master Sir Joq.
“In 2016, I partnered with Starlite to host a series of happy hour events called Floor 21,” More said in statement. “Now, a decade later, I’m excited to return to this beautifully renovated historic venue for Pride Month.”
A portion of the proceeds from the series will benefit the GLBT Historical Society.
