Silver Lake—Members of the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce and Neighborhood Council joined Casa Chida owners and staff for a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. The new restaurant takes over the former space occupied by Ivanhoe, and before that, Home at the corner of Fletcher and Riverside.

Merch fundraiser supports local history
Atwater Village—A limited run of neighborhood-themed merchandise is now available as part of a fundraiser supporting local history efforts. Friends of Atwater Village is offering 15-ounce coffee mugs and tote bags featuring illustrations of legacy businesses and signage by local artist Adam Abada. Items are sold separately for a $20 donation each, while supplies last. Proceeds benefit Friends of Atwater Village, a volunteer nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the neighborhood’s history. Learn more

Echo Park—Monkish Brewing Co. opened their Echo Park outpost on Sunset Boulevard earlier this month, reports Eater LA.
