PEORIA, Ariz. (KTRE) – Former Central Heights Blue Devil Grayson Rodriguez made his first rehab start in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Tuesday for the Los Angeles Angels.
Rodriguez was traded to the Angels from the Orioles on Nov. 19. He was placed on the injured list on March 23 with right shoulder inflammation.
Rodriguez pitched five innings, allowing one run on five hits while striking out seven. As long as things go well, Rodriguez will continue to make rehab appearances with the hopes of returning to the big-league club in a couple of weeks.
