BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The California Living Museum, better known as CALM Zoo, is celebrating 43 years in the Kern County community.
The zoo will be hosting their annual Birthday Bash with discounted admission, activities for families, live entertainment and special treats for all of their animals.
The event is happening May 16 from 9a.m. to 4 p.m.
CALM Community Engagement Facilitator Elizabeth Graff joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details about the celebration.
Admission during the event starts at $5 for children and $12 for adults.
