Police are searching for a suspect after a deadly car-to-car shooting near the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Friday evening, officials said.
The shooting happened in the area of Prairie and Manchester at around 6:30 p.m.
Two vehicles were stopped when the suspect shot at a man and took off, according to Inglewood Mayor James Butts. Officials say the man was able to drive about a block away before passing away in the 700 block of Nutwood.
A woman was in the car with the victim, Butts said. It was unknown if she was hurt.
No suspect description was immediately available.
Prairie between Manchester and Kelso was closed due to police activity.
