Extraordinary Sundae: Extraordinary Desserts has added an over-the-top sundae to its menu. The Extraordinary Sundae comes with house-made vanilla bean ice cream, hot fudge, chocolate chip cookie bites, candied almonds and whipped cream. The $42 sundae is meant for two to three people. It’s curated by executive pastry chef and owner Karen Krasne and inspired by her travels through Paris, according to the company. Clam bake: The Kona Kai resort is bringing back its clam bake event for a second year. Executive chef Ethan Brown will be serving up a family-style feast featuring crab cakes, crab legs, raw oysters, poached shrimp, baked mussels and clams. There will also be herb-roasted new potatoes, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, various dips and sauces, tarts, cupcakes and doughnuts. Dinner specials: The newly reopened Roppongi Restaurant & Lounge has just announced new weekly dinner specials. On Mondays, guests can get the $30 Roppongi Ritual, which comes with spicy edamame, nigiri, a choice of smoked pork belly drunken noodles or a Cantonese-style quinoa and a cocktail. Spring cocktails: Eight new spring cocktails inspired by regions from around the world are now available at the speakeasy bar Captain’s Quarters in Pacific Beach. New lunch options: Customers at Snooze Eatery now have new lunch options, as an updated menu has been launched. New items include a smash burger with bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing on a pretzel bun, a three cheese sandwich and roasted tomato soup, a turkey, bacon and Swiss cheese sandwich and a cob salad with habanero pork belly.
