San Jose Sharks No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, Michael Misa, will make his NHL debut against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
Per Curtis Pashelka of The Mercury News, the Sharks informed Misa that he will be in the lineup tomorrow.
Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky adjusted his lines and defense pairings at Monday’s practice. Based on the rotations, Collin Graf could be the odd man out for Misa’s highly anticipated debut.
Interesting new #SJSharks lines at practice, Misa to make his NHL debut?

Ty Dellandrea, who has played well in the 3C spot, will slide to the right wing, allowing Misa to play his natural position. Philipp Kurashev will slide from Macklin Celebrini’s wing to play with Misa and Dellandrea.

Will Smith and Celebrini have also been split up as William Eklund and Tyler Toffoli join Celebrini as the Sharks’ top line. Last season, ‘That ’70s Line’ showcased tremendous chemistry and responsibility.
Jeff Skinner, who has scored in both San Jose Sharks games this season, moves to a line with Alex Wennberg and Smith.
Per Warsofsky, Smith is also dealing with a slight lower-body injury, but he’s expected to play tomorrow. The lineup for tomorrow’s game against the Hurricanes won’t be confirmed today. However, it is encouraging that Smith was able to participate in practice.
Warsofsky says Smith has a lower-body issue, should play tomorrow, but something that he's been dealing with before Saturday's game.

Sam Dickinson appears to be staying in the lineup for his second career game. This time, he’ll be paired with John Klingberg. Dmitry Orlov, who was originally paired with Dickinson, will remain on his off right side and pair with Mario Ferraro.

Shakir Mukhamadullin skated with Vincent Desharnais at Monday’s practice, meaning he could be scratched again. Desharnais hasn’t appeared in a game for the Sharks this season.
