A Chatsworth resident was startled overnight when a thief broke into their home, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The break-in was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on Celtics Street, according to police. There, a thief broke into a home while the resident was inside.
It’s unclear if the resident saw the thief or if any confrontation occurred. No injuries were reported in connection with the break-in.
According to law enforcement, the thief took off with items from the home. It’s unclear exactly what was stolen, though.
A detailed description of the thief was not immediately available.
