Leonardo Alejo was stabbed on April 28 and later died on May 5, according to the Fresno Police Department.

A man died a week after he was stabbed in Fresno and a suspect has been arrested. The Fresno Police Department in an update Friday said 58-year-old Leonardo Alejo was unresponsive and had a stab wound when officers found him at 5:41 p.m. April 28 at 370 B Street. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, but died on May 5. Homicide detectives have accused 32-year-old Jose Moreno of the fatal stabbing.
Moreno was arrested April 28 and was booked and charged with attempted murder. Anyone with information should call a detective at 559-621-2451 or 559-621-2516. Anonymous tips may also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867.
