Kyle Kazan leads the Long Beach-based cannabis giant, which operates around 1,200 retailers, collaborates with nearly 600 brands and owns nearly 6 million square feet of cultivation facilities. The company’s stock jumped 59.7% last December and has remained up ever since the Trump administration re-classified cannabis as a Schedule III narcotic. Kazan is also the founder and chair of Beach Front Property Management Inc. and has since 1999 led the company. He began investing in real estates in 1991, launching 23 private equity funds that are estimated to own or manage properties valued over $6 billion. Kazan joined the regulated cannabis industry in 2016, closing and consolidating four funds to form Glass House Brands.
