BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating the driver who hit a pedestrian on a motorized mini-bike.
The collision happened on April 15, near the 600 block of Planz Road, east of South Chester Avenue, at 10:05 p.m.
The suspect was initially traveling southbound on Union Avenue before turning west onto Planz Road.
BPD believes the suspect was driving a light gray Dodge Charger with chrome rims. The suspect fled the scene westbound down Planz Road and northbound on South Chester Avenue.
The department reported that it was a juvenile who was rear-ended by the driver. The victim sustained moderate injuries from the collision.
