“In Focus California” is a new statewide program focused on the issues and the decision makers shaping everyday life across California.

This week, host Tanya McRae is in Sacramento at our state capitol talking to two of the state’s most influential leaders, Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones from San Diego — who serves as head of the Senate Republican Caucus — and California Attorney General Rob Bonta, the top law enforcement official in the state.

The two of them present ideas and solutions that could help move California forward.

Bonta talks with McRae about his efforts protecting the rights of Californians, defending immigrant communities, and the constitutional fallout from the Trump administration’s efforts challenging individual protections.

Plus, the growing impact of tariffs and what it could mean for families, businesses and the economy.

Jones shares with McRae possible solutions that address the rising cost of living in California and the state’s ongoing housing crisis.
