Fire reported Tuesday morning in Topeka’s Oakland neighborhood

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Topeka Fire Department crews were responding to a fire late Thursday morning at a home in the Oakland neighborhood.

The fire was reported around 11:08 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 800 block of N.E. Forest Avenue.

Initial reports indicated a small fire was located in the basement of the home.

The blaze was reported out as of 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
