Hayley Williams fired up Bay Area fans during the final night of her three-show run in Oakland, unleashing a blunt political message that quickly went viral online.

A clip of the Paramore frontwoman yelling “F- ICE … and Free Palestine!” while performing her song “Ice in My OJ” at the Fox Theater on Sunday, May 10, has amassed more than 1 million views over the past few days.

Marco Foster was one of several fans to post the video to X, which shows the singer holding up her middle finger while referring to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. Many fans in the comment section are now calling Williams “amazing,” praising her candor.

Williams has built a reputation for political outspokenness over the years, frequently using her platform to criticize President Donald Trump and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive freedom.

More recently, she has voiced her support for Palestine and joined the “No Music for Genocide” boycott in September, which geo-blocks her music from being streamed in Israel. Other artists involved in the effort include Kneecap, Fontaines D.C. and Japanese Breakfast.

Criticism of ICE has particularly become a recurring theme during her current Hayley Williams at a Bachelorette Party Tour.

The singer was in Oakland for three sold-out shows, Thursday, May 7 and Saturday-Sunday May 9-10. While in the East Bay, she was spotted by fans at Temescal lunch spot Daytrip Counter as well as the Black Panther Party Museum in downtown Oakland.

Hours before her first night here, Williams announced a second 2026 tour, The Hayley Williams Show, which will bring her back to the Bay Area for a concert at Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheatre on Oct. 2.

While Williams’ current tour has focused on her 2025 album, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” her forthcoming trek will span all three of her solo albums.

Presale tickets for the new tour are available now. General sales start at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14.

Before embarking on next tour, Williams is scheduled to wrap up her current run with a show overseas in Dublin on June 30.
