Rio Rancho Public Schools has joined the lawsuit against Meta and several other social media accusing the groups of adolescent addiction.The complaint demands for a jury trial against several defendants, including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat ownership and Google. The school district found negligence and public nuisance in Meta, Snap, TikTok and Google.The school district includes about 20 schools, which educate about 17,000 students in total. The allegations were made against the social media companies in late April.
