BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police are investigating a shooting that originated from a disagreement at a gas station, which temporarily closed a section of Panama Lane on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 11:43 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the 5000 block of Panama Lane, south of the Costco Warehouse.
Officials said it appears that there was an earlier argument between two people at the Shell gas station, located at the corner of Panama Lane and Stine Road. The person who reported the incident had their vehicle struck, and shell casings were found nearby, said police.
No one was injured in the incident.
