Hart has been the Knights’ lone man between the pipes this series. In Tuesday’s game, he stopped 34 of 36 pucks.
Dostal allowed 6 goals across 80 minutes in Games 3 and 4, but he rallied to stop 29 of 32 Tuesday.

Since April 1, in regular-season and playoffs games combined, Anaheim has gone just 8-10-1. Over the same stretch, the Knights have gone 13-4-1. Vegas went into the playoffs on a better trend line, and the club has experience in winning bracket games. The Ducks’ first-round win over the Edmonton OIlers marked their first playoff series victory since 2017.
Mix in some special-teams tilt toward Vegas. The Golden Knights have registered power-play goals in 6 of their last 7 games, and earlier in these playoffs they had a span where they killed 21 straight penalties (April 27-May 8).
The expected-goal shot metrics would say the Ducks played their best 2 games of this series right out of the gate, and that Vegas has been logging the more frequent and better scoring chances since Game 3.
