(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department will conduct a checkpoint to check for people driving under the influence on Friday.
According to the city, the checkpoint will run from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at a location in the city determined by data on DUI-related crashes.
“Impaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk,” Sgt. Anna Mahoney said. “Any prevention measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roads significantly improve traffic safety.”
