Two men have been detained after a high-speed chase Thursday evening ended in a crash in Davis, according to police. The Sacramento Police Department said officers tried to pull over a vehicle before 8:45 p.m. near Broadway and 3rd Street. The vehicle did not comply and led them on a chase. The vehicle traveled around the area of Freeport Boulevard from Broadway before going to Freeport and Florin Road and entering northbound Interstate 5, police said. The vehicle then drove on westbound Highway 50 and Interstate 80 to Davis and later collided with another vehicle in the area of West Covell Boulevard and Highway 113. The men inside the vehicle tried running away from the scene before they were detained by officers, police said. No injuries were reported.
