2 taken to hospital after Sacramento police pursuit ends in crash

(FOX40.COM) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a police pursuit ended in a crash in Sacramento.

The Sacramento Police Department told FOX40 that officers attempted to pull over a car in the area of Grand Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard.

Police said the driver did not stop and led officers on a pursuit.

The pursuit ended when the driver crashed into multiple parked cars on Marysville Boulevard, according to police.

The driver, identified as an adult man, and a female passenger were taken to the hospital.
