BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A wildfire burning near in northern Kern County has burned over 2,500 acres fire officials said. An previous evacuation order in the area has been lifted.

The fire was reported at around 4:25 p.m. near West Garces Highway and Rowlee Road. The fire is burning near the Kern-Tulare county line.
