Sacramento Burger Battle returns this weekend
FOOD THEME. IT’S THE BATTLE OF THE BURGERS IN THE CAPITAL CITY, AND THIS WEEKEND YOU CAN HELP CHOOSE WHO MAKES THE BEST BURGER IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA. THERE WILL BE BURGER SAMPLES, REFRESHMENTS, AND LOCAL CELEBRITY JUDGES, AND THAT INCLUDES OUR VERY OWN TAMARA BERG. YOU KNOW, IT’S GOT A LITTLE TWIST TO IT. I MEAN, I’M NOT GOING TO LIE, I LIKE IT. I, YOU KNOW, AT DISCOVERY PARK THIS WEEKEND, IF YOU SMELL THE GRILLS GOING OFF THE HOOK, IT’S BECAUSE OF THE BURGER BATTLE THAT’S GOING TO BE GOING ON. I’VE GOT TWO GUYS IN STUDIO. SO THIS IS A THIS IS A STEAK BURGER WITH WITH PORK BELLY PICKLED ONIONS SHROPSHIRE BLUE CHEESE BURGER SAUCE, BLUE CHEESE LETTUCE AND TOMATO. This event is a fundraiser for the American River Parkway Foundation. Proceeds to benefit the Parkway Connect. This program gets kids to the parkway to enjoy things like fishing, hiking and biking.
