The VAPA Foundation presented its sixth annual “Applause for a Cause,” an event highlighting young artists in the San Diego Unified School District, at the JULEP Venue in San Diego on May 7.
The evening featured a cocktail reception, food and student dance, musical and theatrical performances and honored donors Phyllis Epstein and Doreen Schonbrun.
The nonprofit VAPA Foundation supports visual and performing arts education and students in San Diego Unified, which includes five schools in La Jolla. ♦
