A local auto restoration business is asking the public for help in tracking down a classic Volkswagen Beetle that was stolen from their property this week.
Wagenmasters Inc. posted video on social media on Thursday that shows someone driving a white pickup truck towing a red Volkswagen Beetle from their location along East 8th Street in Rancho Cucamonga.
They are hoping that someone in the VW community has seen or heard something that will help bring back the beloved vehicle – described in the post as “most than just metal and parts.”

“These vehicles carry history, memories, passion and countless hours of dedication,” the post reads. “To have something like this taken is absolutely devastating.”
A follow-up Instagram post by Wagenmasters provided an image of a person of interest.
“We now have a high-resolution image of the individual responsible for stealing our vehicle,” the Instagram post reads. “To the person in this photo, soon [police] will know who you are, and it’s only a matter of time now. See you soon.”
Wagenmasters asked anyone with information to contact them right away.
“We truly appreciate the support, prayers and help from this incredible community during a very difficult moment,” the business said.
