The city of San Francisco on Saturday begins enforcing a two-hour parking limit as part of its crackdown on RVs parked on city streets.
The two-hour enforcement comes after months of outreach and permitting, installation of signage and offers through a vehicle buyback program. It’s a process that Mayor Daniel Lurie has called “compassionate” and “complex.”
Starting Saturday, violators of the two-hour parking limit will be fined more than $100. There are no exceptions for short-term visitors with RVs.
