Nautical Nightmares Halloween Party
7-11 p.m. at 5 o’ Clock Somewhere Bar & Rooftop | 21+ | Free 
5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar will transform into a spooky pirate escape. You can expect a DJ, costume contest and signature cocktails. 

Halloween Spooktacular
Every weekend through Nov. 2 at SeaWorld San Diego | Included with park admission  
This year’s Spooktacular has interactive activities, trick-or-treat stations, and a pumpkin patch. 

Trick-or-Treating in La Mesa Village
4 p.m. at La Mesa Village| Free
The downtown Village gets into the Halloween spirit by handing out treats to the community. This is a free, family-friendly event for all to enjoy.

Saturday, Nov. 1

Chula Vista’s Annual Dia de los Muertos
3 – 8 p.m. in Downtown Chula Vista | Free
Families and friends can gather for the 5th Annual Dia de los Muertos in Chula Vista.This free, family-friendly event transforms Third Avenue into a vibrant tribute with music, art, food, and traditions that honor loved ones who have passed.

Dia de los Muertos in Old Town
11 a.m. at Old Town| Free
Live music, local bands, street performances, face painting, rows of colorful Day of the Dead merchandise, fine art, traditional ofrendas or altars, and a hands-on crafts kids’ area fill this amazing setting.

Dia de los Deftones 2025 
3:45-11 p.m. at Petco Park | $110+ 
The Deftones are coming back for a 6th year at Petco Park for their Dia de los Deftones festival. Their lineup includes Clipse, 2Hollis, Rico Nasty and more. 

Brick-O-Treat Monster Park 
Through Nov. 1 at LEGOLAND | Included with park admission 
LEGOLAND’s Halloween-themed season is back. Visitors can enjoy family-fun activities, limited-time food and drinks, and a costume contest

Sunday, Nov. 2

SeaWorld Dia de los Muertos
Saturday and Sunday | Included with park admission 
SeaWorld San Diego is celebrating Dia de los Muertos with Catrina statues, and beautifully crafted ofrendas. Music and festive food options will also be available.

Carlsbad Village Street Faire
8 a.m. at the Downtown Village of Carlsbad| Free
The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce organizes the event, which features 900 arts and crafts booths, antiques, an international food court, a huge section with children’s rides, an entertainment stage, and a beer garden.
