FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — There is heavy police activity in the area of Bardell and Vine Avenues in Southwest Fresno.
Chief Mindy Casto is on the scene along with more than a dozen police units, SWAT and a BearCat vehicle.
Several streets around Bardell and Vine Avenues are closed.
Bardell Avenue is blocked off at Dorthy Avenue. Vine Avenue is blocked off at Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
