“I’ve wanted to create an original Zorro production ever since I started the Maverick. The tale of Zorro is deeply rooted in Southern California history—in fact, his origins are here in Orange County at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, during the earliest years of California statehood. It was a time when the land was lush and prosperous, but still very much apart of the wild west. Law and order was often left in the hands of the powerful who could be corrupt,” stated Brian Newell.
The Return of Zoro is currently playing now through June 7 at the Maverick Theater located at 110 E. Walnut Avenue Unit B, Fullerton CA. Tickets can be purchased at the Maverick Theater’s website.
